Terms of sale

Draft: this page describes how the site works today and has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer.

These terms explain how ordering from Tape2Tailor works.

Made to measure

Every garment is made for you from the design options and measurements you provide. Fit depends on the accuracy of your measurements. That is why a person at Tape2Tailor checks every set of measurements before we send an order to be made, and may ask you to redo them.

Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars. At checkout you see the price of your items, any discounts, a tailor measurement fee if you choose to be measured by a tailor, shipping and tax. You pay when you place the order. The price you were shown is the price you pay.

Measuring

You can enter your own measurements, measure yourself with the Tape2Tailor app, or visit an authorized tailor near you. An authorized tailor measures you on our behalf; the measurement fee is shown at checkout.

Cancelling

You can cancel an order yourself until we send it to the workshop, and a payment already taken is refunded in full to your original payment method. After that point, please contact us and we will do our best to help, but because the garment will already be in production we cannot promise a refund.

Delivery

When your order ships you will see the carrier and tracking number on your order page. Delivery times depend on the workshop and the carrier.

Reviews

After your order is complete you have a limited time to leave a review. We may hide reviews that break our rules, such as abusive language or personal information.
